Opportunity for a Cloud Data Platform Architect to join a central government project for 6 months. You’ll play a key role in supporting the re-platforming of a data management solution to a new SaaS product, acting as the technical custodian for systems and data transitioning to the cloud, ensuring continuity, integrity, and compliance throughout the migration process. This is not a lift-and-shift migration; it’s a proper redesign of data and technology platforms, re-engineering how data is sourced, ingested, processed, analysed, and consumed in the cloud.
The role requires a cross-disciplinary Architect who can both design solutions and provide end-to-end technical leadership from discovery and design through to build, testing, and deployment.
Requirements:
- Experience across multiple architecture disciplines (Data, Solution, Tech, Cloud)
- Experience delivering cloud data re-platforming and migration initiatives
- Central government / public sector experience
- Knowledge of Palantir Foundry (desirable)
