We are currently working with a leading re-insurance broker to recruit a Business Analyst/Project Manager who will be responsible for managing the end-to-end project lifecycle. This includes:
- Requirement gathering
- Process design
- Vendor selection through RFP
- Project execution
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting workshops and interviews with key stakeholders to understand business needs and objectives.
- Documenting functional and non-functional requirements for the underwriting platform, ensuring they are comprehensive and aligned with the business strategy.
- Creating detailed requirement specifications, including user stories and use cases, to guide vendor selection and system design.
- Designing and documenting process flows, integrating best practices and ensuring efficiency across underwriting operations.
- Developing a detailed project plan, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
- Managing stakeholders, ensuring alignment of goals and expectations.
- Monitoring and reporting project progress, risks, and issues, maintaining transparency with senior management.
- Facilitating regular project meetings and ensuring project documentation is maintained.
- Drafting the RFP document, outlining requirements, evaluation criteria, and vendor expectations for underwriting platforms.
- Conducting market research to identify potential vendors and assess their capabilities.
- Managing the RFP process, including vendor communication, bid evaluation, and selection recommendations.
- Presenting findings and recommendations to leadership for final approval.

- Strong Business Analysis and Project Management skills and experience gained in the London Market.
- Strong knowledge and experience with underwriting processes and MGA/UW platforms.
- Experience in conducting RFPs and vendor selection processes.
- Proficient in process design and optimisation techniques.
