My client, a leading global financial services organisation, is seeking a Project Test Lead to join their London office on a contract basis initially until the end of the year, supporting a Vendor Management System implementation within their External Workforce programme.

This is a hands-on test leadership role. You will own test planning and coordination across the full project lifecycle by defining scope, approach, timelines and entry/exit criteria and will develop and manage the VMS test scripts, scenarios and execution materials aligned to business processes, configuration decisions and reporting requirements. You will coordinate UAT with business users and workstream leads, manage defect tracking and retesting through to sign-off, and validate VMS configuration, workflows, approvals, integrations and reporting outputs end to end.

Key skills and experience:
  • A background in test leadership or UAT coordination gained on system implementation or transformation programmes.
  • Hands-on testing experience on at least one VMS rollout – SAP Fieldglass or Workday VNDLY preferred, though other platforms will be considered.
  • A track record of writing test scenarios and scripts from scratch and running them through execution and capturing evidence against agreed processes and configuration.
  • Comfortable running UAT end to end – briefing participants, keeping execution on track, working defects through retest and getting testing over the line for sign-off.
