Investments Change Manager – Permanent – Hybrid
A leading global Private Markets investment organisation seeking an experienced Change Manager to lead its Investments change portfolio in London.
This is a senior role within the central Change Office, taking ownership of the strategic transformation roadmap across the Investment organisation and partnering closely with senior stakeholders including the CIO and Head of Portfolio Management.
The role will oversee a £2-3m annual change portfolio, manage multiple concurrent initiatives and lead a small team across Change and Business Analysis. It requires someone capable of operating strategically while remaining close enough to delivery to step into the detail when required.
The Investments Change Manager is expected to:
- Own and shape the Investments transformation roadmap.
- Lead multiple complex change initiatives from business case through implementation and BAU.
- Manage programme governance, budgets, vendors, risks, dependencies and prioritisation.
- Partner with senior investment stakeholders to translate strategic priorities into deliverable change.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation and practical AI adoption across the Investment organisation.
- Manage and develop Change Managers and Business Analysts.
The successful Investments Change Manager will possess:
- Significant change or transformation experience within Private Markets, Private Equity or a closely related alternatives environment.
- Strong knowledge of the Private Markets deal execution process and end-to-end deal lifecycle is essential. Candidates must understand how investments progress from origination and diligence through approval, execution, monitoring and exit.
- Proven experience delivering change across investment processes rather than purely corporate or operational functions.
- Experience managing multiple concurrent programmes or a wider change portfolio.
- Strong senior stakeholder management skills, ideally with CIO, Investment Heads or Portfolio Management teams.
- Experience across programme governance, budgeting, vendor management and dependency management.
- Previous people management experience would be highly beneficial.
- Experience with DealCloud, eFront, AI or automation initiatives would be advantageous but is not essential.
