Full stack C# / Angular Developer - .NET, TypeScript, Orleans Framework, Akka, Microservices, Hedge Fund - 6 month FTC

An Experienced Full stack C# / Angular Developer is sought after by a leading Hedge Fund to join an engineering team responsible for data warehousing and distribution across their trading, treasury and operations functions. The team have ownership of the Funds real-time Equity trading system, Bonds management platform as well as general data warehousing across the wider business functions.

There is currently an extensive pipeline of work, which includes:

  • The development of new business logic to augment their existing infrastructure code
  • The migration of services onto a new Microsoft Orleans based platform
  • The ongoing implementation of standard design patterns for re-useable code and standardising their microservices setup

You will be expected to contribute across these different projects, as well as the migration of legacy data warehousing services to a new modern Snowflake set up, with the role suiting someone who is a self-starter who can identify and solve problems under their own initiative.

To be successful, you will demonstrate:

  • Strong hands-on engineering skills in C# and Angular
  • An understanding of data warehousing and data distribution (ideally with knowledge of Snowflake or Databricks)
  • A background in Financial Services with knowledge of financial instruments such as Bonds, Repos, Equities etc.
  • Strong communication skills with the confidence and ability to face off directly to the business

Please note this role will require 4 days in office in Central London near Victoria. It is also being offered on a Fixed Term Contract basis with initial period of 6 months.
