My client, an early-stage, VC-backed fintech startup, is transforming how risk is managed in payments. Using AI and analytics, they help payment companies better understand merchant risk, reduce friction, and unlock growth. They currently operate a remote-first team spanning the UK, Europe, and Asia-Pacific and are looking to expand on this with a Senior Sales Manager to lead sales efforts across the UK and Europe, based out of the UK.
In this role, you will own and drive revenue growth across the UK and European markets, leading the full sales cycle with acquirers, PayFacs, ISOs, and other payment providers. You will build strong relationships with senior stakeholders across commercial, risk, and technical teams, refine sales strategies, enhance go-to-market execution, support brand awareness in key markets, and work closely with product and tech teams to ensure alignment with customer needs.
To be successful you will need:
- 7+ years in a sales/account executive role with SaaS/technology product selling
- Experience selling customisable solutions
- Experience in merchant risk/merchant acquiring
- Payments experience would be extremely beneficial
- Proven experience selling to payment companies in the UK and Western Europe
- Experience in remote, cross-functional teams
- Experience supporting marketing or building sales teams
- Background in managing complex, multi-stakeholder deals
