A growing insurance business in the City is looking for a Senior Analytics Engineer to join their actuarial function. This role will focus on building the data foundations that support pricing, reserving and risk modelling across the business.
You’ll be responsible for developing and maintaining production-ready data pipelines, shaping and refining their Azure cloud environment, and ensuring data is delivered reliably and efficiently to actuarial teams. The work is varied, hands-on, and central to the way the business uses data.
What you’ll be doing:
- Building and maintaining scalable data pipelines in Python and SQL
- Developing and improving Azure-based data infrastructure
- Enhancing CI/CD pipelines and supporting DevOps practices
- Automating processes and creating reusable cloud components
- Working closely with actuarial stakeholders to translate requirements into robust data solutions
- Supporting junior engineers and contributing to engineering standards
