Catastrophe Modelling Manager - London (Hybrid) An established and growing specialty insurer is seeking an experienced Catastrophe Modelling Manager to lead a small team within its Exposure Management team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of catastrophe risk analysis across a broad and diverse portfolio spanning multiple lines of business, working closely with underwriters, actuarial teams, capital modelling specialists, and senior management.

Opportunity: You'll lead the assessment, analysis, and reporting of catastrophe exposures across a global portfolio, helping to shape underwriting strategy and support informed risk-taking decisions.

  • Managing catastrophe modelling activities across insurance and reinsurance portfolios.
  • Producing portfolio accumulation reports and catastrophe risk analyses.
  • Supporting underwriting teams with risk selection, portfolio optimisation, and scenario testing.
  • Delivering insights to senior stakeholders on catastrophe exposure and emerging risk trends.
  • Contributing to capital modelling, regulatory reporting, and portfolio management initiatives.
  • Leading model validation, governance, and continuous improvement programmes.
