My client, an exciting Challenger Bank, is seeking a Head of Business Insights to join their London based team on a contract basis. This is a 6 month initial contract and will be hybrid, with 3 days in the office required per week.
This is an exciting opportunity where, as Head of Business Insights, you will define the vision and direction for enterprise reporting and insights, shaping how leaders across the organisation access, interpret, and act on data. You will own and deliver executive dashboards and performance reporting for the Board, working closely with the Data Platform team and stakeholders across the business to design and build high-quality MI and insight solutions.
As an individual contributor reporting to the Head of Data, you will set strategic direction while serving as the organisation’s subject matter expert in MI, reporting standards, and insight delivery, championing data quality and driving strong collaboration across teams.
To be successful in this role you will need:
- Extensive experience in Business Intelligence / Business Insights, Analytics or Performance Reporting, preferably within the Financial Services industry
- Proven leadership experience in a data driven environment (Financial Services, Fintech, Challenger Bank, Payments) - leadership through influence not necessarily direct line management
- Strong experience in Data Visualisation and dashboard development (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, Qlik)
- Excellent SQL skills (highly beneficial if you have experience in Databricks, BigQuery, Snowflake etc)
- Knowledge of UK Property Lending would be extremely useful
- Excellent communication skills and proven senior Stakeholder Management is critical
- Hands-on BI experience
This is an excellent opportunity to redefine decision making, improve operational efficiency and embed a culture of high-impact insights.
