Morson is delighted to partner with Safran in recruiting a Quality Engineer for their Wolverhampton site.

This role centres on implementing and maintaining an effective Quality Clinic System within the assigned area, site, or value stream.
You will develop and oversee an implementation plan to ensure full compliance with Quality Clinic standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development, coordination, and execution of gap closure plans to enhance Quality Clinic effectiveness.
- Oversee the daily operation of the Quality Clinic system, including the control and disposition of non-conforming products, containment measures, and delivery of improvement activities and projects.
- Coordinate tasks and activities of Quality Clinic core team members and supporting functions, acting as a coach to facilitate problem-solving and continuous improvement.
- Monitor process performance using established results and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Communicate process performance clearly and regularly to stakeholders through structured performance reviews.
- Maintain high standards of visual management and 5S/7S workplace organisation.
- Contribute to the ongoing development and enhancement of Quality Clinic systems across Actuation by sharing best practises and supporting standardisation efforts.
- Job Requirements
- Excellent communication, presentation, and project management skills.
- Practical knowledge and hands-on experience with Actuation Quality processes.
- Strong goal focus with a commitment to continuous improvement.
- Resilience and determination to overcome challenges affecting key deliverables, demonstrating behaviours aligned with our company values.
- Solid understanding of quality problem-solving methodologies, including PPS, 8D, DMAIC, and Red X.
- Willingness and ability to achieve Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification.
- Proficiency with digital quality tools and associated company software solutions (M365, SAP, ETQ, Tableau, etc.).
