Due to our continued success, we are expanding our Customer Services team and looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused individual to join us as a trainee Customer Care Advisor based from our Leicester Office. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for someone looking to begin a career in the house building industry. You will be fully supported and trained to handle enquiries, coordinate remedial works, and ensure our social housing partners receive an outstanding post-completion experience.

  • Act as the first point of contact for housing associations, councils, and other registered providers, handling inbound calls, emails, and online queries in a professional and timely manner.
  • Liaise with site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to arrange remedial appointments and ensure works are completed to schedule.
  • Keep housing partners informed throughout the resolution process, providing clear and regular updates.
  • Support the team in managing end-of-defect-liability period inspections and sign-offs.
  • Carry out general administrative tasks to support the wider Customer Care department.

Requirements:

  • Genuinely passionate about delivering excellent customer service.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills, with a professional and empathetic telephone manner.
  • A working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • A desire to learn about the house building industry and develop a long-term career within it.
  • Previous experience in a customer-facing, admin, or complaints-handling role.
  • Familiarity with the social housing sector or registered providers.
