At the heart of this is our in‑house platform, which provides visibility across land, build, commercial, and operational data. Over the last year, the platform has evolved into a modern, data‑driven system, built on contemporary technologies.
We are now looking to expand the team with a Developer focused on data, dashboards, and reporting, helping to turn datasets into clear, actionable insights for senior leaders and operational teams. You will work within a modern React, .NET, SQL, Azure ecosystem, collaborating closely with team members and stakeholders to deliver high‑quality insights at pace. This position can be based in either our Cannock office (WS11 0EJ), or our Leicester office (LE19 1WP).
What is involved within the role?
- Design and build interactive dashboards and reporting solutions within a React application
- Work with backend services to expose clean, performant data APIs in C#.NET
- Develop and optimise SQL queries and stored procedures to support reporting and analytics
- Translate business questions into clear visual outputs
- Collaborate with other developers to align dashboards with the wider platform architecture
About you
We are looking for someone who enjoys working close to data and outcomes. You’ll focus on building highly interactive, in‑app dashboards and reporting tools, underpinned by robust backend data processes.
Essential skills & experience
- Experience working with modern front‑end frameworks, such as React
- C# .NET
- RESTful APIs
- Strong SQL experience (queries and stored procedures)
- Experience working in an Agile / Scrum environment
- Experience working with data warehouses or analytical datasets
- Experience with Power BI or similar reporting tools
- Cypress UI testing
