The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.
With a manufacturing operation as fast paced and complex as ours, it is key we have a strong planning team who are on the ball and able to keep up to the demands of the site. It is our Planning Specialists who will generate the medium to long term production plan for our Manufacturing sites to deliver outstanding product availability for our customers.
Reporting into the Manufacturing Planning Manager and based at our Winsford Manufacturing site, you will be responsible for the end to end planning process for our produce sites and also be responsible for:
- Utilising all available information and tools to help maximise the end to end profit of the manufacturing process.
- Supporting the category to plan and coordinate delivery of raw material including packaging & finished goods in line with customer requirements.
- Building strong relationships with all internal stakeholders and external parties.
- Continually improving business efficiencies.
- Ensuring all legislation and Grocery Suppliers Code of Practice requirements are adhered to.
- Understanding end to end supply chain and financial implications.
- Identifying new opportunities and efficiency.
- Building knowledge of product and seasonal calendars.
- Weekend Cover (Shared Rota) can be remote.
As well as the ability to work at pace, with a demonstrable background and experience in manufacturing planning, you will also need to have experience in a similar manufacturing planning role within a manufacturing environment (preferably within a food/FMCG environment).
- End to end supply chain experience and managing supplier relationships.
- Proficient in forecasting, planning and data analytical skills.
- Ability to make your own decisions and work using your own initiative on a daily basis and implementing your ideas into practice.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Demonstrable experience of using planning software systems.
- Assertiveness with the ability to make decisions on the spot.
- Experience of root cause analysis.
- A can do attitude and a strong work ethic.
