Do you have a friendly and helpful style, enjoy meeting new people, and go above and beyond for customers? As a Market Street Baker, you will be the face of our fresh bakery in store and will:

• Ensure customer confidence in the availability of fresh bakery products
• Maintain quality, fresh, and attractive displays of food throughout the trading day to promote sales
• Prepare bakery products for sale according to company specifications, using appropriate equipment (e.g., prover, oven, mixer) and bakery skills, including bread, rolls, doughnuts, and fruited products
• Deliver outstanding, friendly, and helpful service, creating memorable moments for our customers and highlighting our traditional skills and fresh products

About You

We’re looking for someone who:

• Is friendly, supportive, and enjoys meeting new people
• Likes to stay active and work in a fast-paced environment
• Uses initiative to support and resolve customer queries
• Can operate a range of equipment while maintaining high health and safety standards
• Has competent baking skills, including mixing and moulding dough, and enjoys working flexibly across other fresh counters to serve our customers
