We are looking for a commercially driven Property Manager - Estates to join our team. Reporting to the Head of Estates, you will take regional accountability for our core estate, ensuring every square foot is working hard for our customers and our bottom line. You won’t just be managing buildings, you’ll be managing the P&L impact of one of the UK’s largest retailers. You will be the go-to expert for your region, driving value through proactive negotiations and strategic asset management.
Key Responsibilities will include:
- Execute agreed asset plans to maximise returns and ensure the long term health of our core estate.
- Proactively manage property events (rent reviews, lease renewals, and terminations) to drive cost savings and value.
- Identify and deliver estate initiatives that go beyond the day to day - think sub-lets, concessions, and innovative space usage.
- Manage and mentor a direct report, fostering a culture of high performance, coaching, and professional development.
- Act as a key partner for regional operations, ensuring property services are delivered seamlessly.
About you
You’re a property professional who understands that great estate management is a blend of technical expertise and commercial intuition. You will:
- Be qualified to degree level in Real Estate or Property Management or equivalent work experience.
- Be a member of the RICS (MRICS), preferred.
- Possess expert knowledge of Landlord & Tenant Act Legislation, allowing you to navigate complex lease structures with ease.
- Have strong knowledge of the Retail industry and market trends, backed by excellent commercial awareness.
- Have a mindset for value and are comfortable leading high stakes lease negotiations.
- Enjoy developing others and have experience managing or mentoring team members to achieve high performance.
