We help our clients safeguard the water supply, improve environmental performance and manage demand for future generations. We enhance and extend asset life, ensuring compliance with water quality and environmental standards. We\'re problem solvers with over 140 years of combined experience in engineering and infrastructure. This role will be within our water and wastewater capital project delivery team. Our teams deliver large-scale capital programmes aimed at keeping water infrastructure resilient for the long-term while protecting the environment. Want to be a part of it?
What you\\\'ll be doing
We\\\'re recruiting for a Water Network Operative to work on our Thames Water Lot 3 contract, predominately working our Network Operations Team, covering both London & Thames Valley. As a Water Network Operative, you\\\'ll will be part of our Network Operations Team. The purpose of this role will be to provide excellent customer service to our customers by undertaking operational tasks, resolving customer issues, and carrying out network valve activities with the least disruption to supplies.
- You\\\'ll support teams on pressure management maintenance, supporting the installation of assets for new pressure managed sites
- You\\\'ll be installing zonal meters and exchanges and installation of district meters and exchanges.
- You\\\'ll be supporting our network upgrade schemes as they arise
- You\\\'ll handle high consequence valve checks on our trunk mains and high-impact network valves.
What you\\\'ll bring / Qualifications
- Do you hold a current driving licence? You\\\'ll need to hold one to be considered for this role.
- Have you gained experience in a similar role within the water industry?
- Do you hold all current certifications that cover Water Hygiene, NRSW unit 2, sampling, flushing, valve operations? This is preferred.
- Do you have a clear understanding of the Permit to Work system?
