This role will be within our customer metering team — our customer metering team surveys and installs billing meters for customers across Wales.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair water systems and related fixtures within the water industry’s infrastructure.
• Diagnose and resolve plumbing issues, including leaks, blockages, and malfunctions; perform maintenance and inspections.
• Identify and report potential hazards or defects; work independently and as part of a team.
• Participate in a standby rota for emergency callouts and ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications; follow health & safety regulations and company policies.
• Maintain high standards of quality and compliance in all work carried out.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in plumbing, installation, maintenance and repair, ideally within the water industry.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing (preferred).
• Valid UK driving license.
