We are looking to offer a Training Administrator the opportunity to join our expanding TrainWithUs team based in Stevenage one to two days per week and then completing the rest of your four day working week based from home.

About the team

TrainWithUs is a central shared service centre whose primary focus is ensure our people hold the correct skills and qualifications to perform their roles safely and efficiently. Currently, there are 15 people in the team, in various roles from Administrators, Coordinators, Team Leaders and a Manager.

About the role

To get you started you would embark on a 6-week training programme, where you would be guided through our systems and processes, enabling you to learn as you go. Following on from this you would be provided with continual support from your manager and peers, as we believe this is best to way to learn.

Your primary role will be to deliver exceptional customer service, by ensuring that training records are maintained and updated, new employees are created on our training system. You will also liaise regularly with external training providers, to obtain training attendance registers and certifications. You will also be expected to scan, record and post out all incoming certifications to our employees.

We offer hybrid working and you would be required to attend the office one to two days per week on a four-day rolling rota per week.

As the Training Administrator, you’ll get the opportunity to:

  • Maintain employee training records and course outcomes within the TMS.

  • Issue system logins to end users and assist when required.

  • Maintain the online training calendar by liaising with external providers to determine course outcomes and approving payments.

  • Act as a first point of call for all queries received via phone call.

  • Process training applications to awarding bodies in line with their procedures.

  • Carry out other ad-hoc administrative duties as required.

  • Processing incoming post.

  • Be able to work quickly and efficiently, while maintaining a keen eye for detail.

  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills to provide first class customer service to our customers.

  • Be able to learn and understand new IT systems.

  • Be forward thinking, looking for new and innovative ways to improve our services and processes.

  • Be able to manage their own workload and prioritise tasks to meet SLAs.

  • Have a willingness to ask questions to gain knowledge, improve performance and develop own skills.
