We help our clients safeguard the water supply, improve environmental performance and manage demand for future generations. We enhance and extend asset life, ensuring compliance with water quality and environmental standards. We are problem solvers with over 140 years of combined experience in engineering and infrastructure. This role will be within our MEICA and capital maintenance team. Our Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Control & Automation (MEICA) experts offer a one-stop solution, including ongoing operation and maintenance services.
You will work across DNO sites within our supported regions, carrying out a mix of maintenance and installation tasks in substations and associated network environments. You will follow established safe systems of work while interacting with a variety of electrical assets, with additional exposure to telecoms-related equipment as part of our processed activities. Your role will support the smooth and reliable operation of the network where we need you to have strong communication and a proactive, customer-focused approach that will help you build effective relationships and deliver a high-quality service.
Requirements
- Do you have a Level 3 Electrical NVQ (or equivalent)?
- Have you gained 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671)?
- Do you have proven experience in industrial, utility, data cables, or high-voltage environments? This is preferred, but not essential.
- Have you got a good understanding of electrical safety and safe systems of work?
- Do you hold a Full UK driving licence?
