We are problem solvers with over 140 years of combined experience in engineering and infrastructure. This role will be within our MEICA and capital maintenance team. Our Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Control & Automation (MEICA) experts offer a one-stop solution, including ongoing operation and maintenance services.

You will work across DNO sites within our supported regions, carrying out a mix of maintenance and installation tasks in substations and associated network environments. You will follow established safe systems of work while interacting with a variety of electrical assets, with additional exposure to telecoms-related equipment as part of our processed activities. Your role will support the smooth and reliable operation of the network where we need you to have strong communication and a proactive, customer-focused approach that will help you build effective relationships and deliver a high-quality service.

Requirements

• Do you have a Level 3 Electrical NVQ (or equivalent)?
• Have you gained 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671)?
• Do you have proven experience in industrial, utility, data cables, or high-voltage environments? This is preferred, but not essential.
• Have you got a good understanding of electrical safety and safe systems of work?
• Do you hold a Full UK driving licence?
