Where will you be working? M Group Highways is supporting the safe transportation and movement of people across the UK. We don't just build roads and bridges – we're building a better future, creating lasting social value that gives back to the communities in which we work. You'll be joining our Highways maintenance team, as the UK's number one highway maintenance contractor. Our teams use the latest innovations to create effective solutions and offer a range of services including planned and reactive maintenance and highway improvement schemes.

What will you be doing? You will be working as part of a team, carrying out a variety of tasks to ensure you meet benchmarks and targets. You might be asked to fill in for other teams when needed. The role will require you to use small power tools and will involve the use of a tablet or phone. You'll be asked to fill out paperwork in a timely manner; time‑keeping is important within this role. The role will require you to be able to work in all weather types. Along with working times that might on occasion change, meaning you need to be flexible. We are looking for a keen team player, able to work positively with others.

Do you have driving experience with large vehicles? Can you use small plant (strimmer, hedge cutter, blower)? Can you use a tablet device to input data? General good geography of Devon or can follow a sat‑nav? We would like to see applications with previous experience working on roads.
