Where will you be working? At M Group Telecom, we\’re enabling and enhancing telecom networks, playing a lead role in the delivery of our tech enabled future. We deliver full network cycle services for fixed, private and mobile operators. This role will be within our Fixed networks team, you\’ll join our people who support providing turnkey solutions for the surveying, designing, building and commissioning new networks, while supporting the repair, maintenance and operation of existing networks.
Responsibilities
What will you be doing? We\’re looking for someone who knows fibre networks inside out. You\’ll be the go-to expert for technical support across our service delivery teams. When things get complex, you\’ll step in to solve problems and guide others to the right fix. You\’ll lead fault investigations and help resolve issues that need specialist knowledge. Whether it\’s N11 light, flat roof access, Grabo, or mechanical lifters, you\’ll know what to do and how to explain it clearly. You\’ll also take charge of performance checks and help validate failed jobs, making sure our work meets the highest standards. When customers raise serious complaints, you\’ll help get to the bottom of it. You\’ll work with team managers and regional managers to understand what went wrong and how to make it right. You\’ll also support engineers who need extra help, especially those struggling with OTDS and ELF scores. You\’ll carry out deep-dive investigations when major faults happen. You\’ll write clear reports that show what caused the issue and what we\’ve done to fix it. You\’ll also build guides and tools that help engineers solve problems faster in future. You\’ll be part of performance conversations and help us understand how we\’re doing against our targets. You\’ll highlight areas that need attention and help drive improvements across the board.
