Responsibilities
- Perform labouring duties as part of a team on the water network, including excavation, pipe laying, and backfilling.
- Ensure all work is carried out to the highest standards of safety and quality, adhering to all company and client protocols.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, supervisors and other contractors to complete projects efficiently and maintain a clean and organised worksite.
- Serve as a professional and approachable representative of Welsh Water, providing clear and courteous communication to customers and the public.
- Respond to and resolve customer queries or concerns on‑site with a positive and helpful attitude, adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations.
- Undergo further training and development to advance your skills and career.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working as a labourer in the water industry, with direct experience on the water network; experience within the broader utility industry is highly regarded.
- Valid StreetWorks ticket (NRSWA).
- Valid Water Hygiene certificate.
- Valid UK driving licence.
