West Byfleet, Surrey or Diseworth, Derby – Hybrid working

Waldon Telecom, a part of M Group Services Telecom Division, is an essential infrastructure services provider to the mobile telecommunication sector in the UK. We work on behalf of large mobile network operators to acquire, design, and construct mobile telecommunication base stations across the country.

Due to our continued success, we are looking for a Delivery Manager to take a critical operational role within the Vodafone Programme team.

What will your key responsibilities be?

  • Successful delivery of the Vodafone mobile network build and upgrade programme scope to time, cost and quality targets.
  • Management of the Vodafone programme team to ensure high performance and consistent delivery.
  • Management of suppliers, subcontractors and other third parties as required for the delivery of the Vodafone programme.
  • Overseeing the programming & scheduling of work, ensuring appropriate resource is used and utilised efficiently.
  • Identifying and managing programme risk. Implement mitigation and recovery plans where necessary to secure delivery.
  • Defining and developing processes and procedures to ensure safe, effective and efficient programme delivery.
  • Driving adherence to programme processes and procedures.
  • Managing staff resources to ensure effective and timely delivery of project goals.
  • Overseeing appraisal scheme and staff development on the project.

You will spend time working from home, in our West Byfleet, Surrey OR Diseworth, Derby office, and also on customer’s site.

What skills and experience are we looking for?

  • Experience in a technical role within Mobile Telecoms (Wireless ADC) – specifically knowledge of Build.
  • Exceptional team player – with the ability to integrate easily, communicate with professional courtesy, energy and enthusiasm – inside and outside the business at all levels.
  • Champion of continuous improvements across the business to improve work streams & processes.
  • Committed to providing outstanding customer service – both internal and external.
  • Problem solver – able to think through solutions.
  • Energetic and self-motivated – hands on and require minimal supervision.
  • Ready for working in a fast-moving technical environment, flexible and adaptable – able to readily accept new ideas and challenges.
  • Proven ability to manage workload and conflicting priorities in a highly pressurised work environment.
  • Experience in a technical role within Mobile Telecoms (Wireless ADC) – Design and Acquisition advantageous.
