About the role
Morrison Water Services are currently looking to recruit a Mechanical Fitter to work on our IOS Anglian Water Alliance.
As a Mechanical Fitter you will be part of our MEICA Construction Team who are responsible for the replacement and refurbishment of Non-Infrastructure Assets.
You will be working on the IOS Alliance for Anglian Water, supporting the operations and completing remedial works over the Essex Suffolk and Cambridge Area.
You’ll be working in the refurbishments and replacements of Pumping Stations, PST/FST, Aeration, CHP, Sludge Treatment and Biofilter.
You’ll be installing access platforms, and capturing assets, providing evidence of correct installation to the Site Manager and Project Engineer.
You’ll also be resolving issues on site during construction, with materials, plant issues etc.
The Key Requirements
Do you have an NVQ Level 3 / C&G / BTEC in Mechanical Engineering?
Are you trained in working in Confined Spaces?
Do you have a full UK Driving licence? This is essential for this role.
Are you First Aid Trained? This is preferred.
Additional Information
- You must possess a high degree of manual dexterity demonstrated through the use of hand tools.
- You will be required to work outdoors in all weathers and be required to walk and stand on uneven ground.
- You must also be able to work within a confined space, without restriction.
- Willing to be flexible due to the nature of the works.
