At M Group Water we help our clients safeguard the water supply, improve environmental performance and manage demand for future generations. We enhance and extend asset life, ensuring compliance with water quality and environmental standards. About the Role

This role will join BGEN – one of the UK\’s largest multidisciplinary design and build contractors with over 100 years of industry experience. We support clients in the water, power & energy, pharmaceutical, nuclear and food and beverage industries to deliver next generation, value-added engineering solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Provide the concept, developed and detailed design deliverables for mechanical pipework installations and associated mechanical services installations (including 3D model, piping isometrics, general arrangement drawings, bill of materials, design risk register, steelwork support details, valve/equipment schedules, specifications etc.).
  • Carry out design in accordance with approved customer design guides, procedures and standards, undertake site surveys and support site installation activities.

Qualifications

  • Hold an HNC or degree in a technical engineering related subject.
  • Proven knowledge and experience working in the utilities sector – clean and wastewater.
  • Knowledge of water sector standards.
  • Experience using AutoCAD and Plant 3D.
