Where will you be working? At M Group Highways, we\’re supporting the safe transportation and movement of people across the UK. We don\’t just build roads and bridges- we\’re building a better future, creating lasting social value that gives back to the communities in which we work. You\’ll be joining our Highways team on a 6 Month Fixed Term Contract, as the UK\’s number one highway maintenance contractor, our teams use the latest innovations to create effective solutions. Responsibilities
What will you be doing? You\’ll be responsible for looking after the day-to-day aspects of running the office, incorporating a variety of tasks. We\’ll ask you to manage our weekly staff timesheet booking process, including using our bespoke timesheet system, setting up and maintaining job numbers, using excel to register job numbers and create weekly reports, and support staff with timesheet booking. You\’ll support our quality management processes and help the team maintain compliance with record management and document control procedures. The role will also include supporting our ESol technical teams where needed.
Qualifications / Skills
- Good computer skills including MS Excel, Word and the ability to use software systems.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise workload.
- Excellent attention to detail with good literacy and numeracy skills.
- Adaptable and willing to work across teams providing general admin support.
- Business or office administrative background an advantage but not essential.
