About The Role Morrison Energy Services is recruiting for a High Voltage Cable Jointer to work on our UK Power Networks contractin Hertfordshire. As a High Voltage Cable Jointeryou will be a part of our substation build team who deliver Capital Programme works on UKPN’s 11kV, 33kV & 132kV Distribution Network. Your role will involve the jointing and terminating of 11kV and 33kV cables onto High Voltage equipment. Morrison Energy Services is proud to be a key partner in theUKPN Alliance, deliveringsubstation build and refurbishment works across the East of England including design, project management, cable installation, building construction, jointing, switchgear, bunding, commissioning, decommissioning and demolition. As a Cable Jointeryour duties & responsibilities will be: Use and interpret manuals, asset standards and other technical information to assist with Installations and remedial works Working in accordance with the company and client safe systems of work and permit to work systems The ability to adapt and respond to unforeseen events and act accordingly The ability to plan and coordinate effectively without supervision Must be able to work on your own or part of a team. Mentoring and coaching less experienced staff and apprentices in developing their knowledge and skills
