About The Role Morrison Energy Services is currently looking to recruit Class 1 HGV Drivers to work on our Transmission Networks Contract. As a HGV Driver you will be part of our Transmission & Distribution Team. The main purpose of the Class 1 HGV Driver role is to have excellent all round knowledge of driving/maintaining different types of site vehicles. Keeping abreast of daily site activities/deliveries and completing driving tasks associated with the contract. Ensuring that all duties are performed in a safe, timely and accurate manner. As the Class 1 HGV Driveryour duties & responsibilities will be: Ensure that all documentation associated with deliveries is clearly and accurately completed and to perform loading/unloading and delivery duties as directed Using Telescopic Fork lift trucks (Telehandlers) Working knowledge of site equipment, fittings and machinery. Keeping up to date knowledge of amendments. Completing, storing and returning daily drivers log book records Completing Drivers Weekly Report book. Recording mileage, locations, fuel checks, vehicle maintenance. Recording any defects and reporting them to the Transport department at NDC Driving pick-up trucks and using trailers as required Dealing with deliveries. Taking control of delivery notes and returning them to the site engineer
