About the Role
Following a thorough onboarding process, you will have your own caseload involving advising on and pursuing employment and industrial relations issues in the tribunals and courts for trade union and professional association members, as well as private individual clients. Your caseload will cover a variety of business sectors across a range of industries including rail/transport, manufacturing, education, health, public sector, sport and the music industry, and you will be dealing with clients at all levels of seniority. There are excellent prospects for career progression in this role, and you will receive regular training to ensure you thrive and achieve your own personal and professional development goals, as well as keeping you fully aware of changes and updates to regulations and best practice. You will be able to support the firm’s marketing and business development strategy, producing written content for publication on‑ and off‑line. About You
We are looking for a qualified 6 years PQE upwards solicitor (or equivalent experience) who has experience of working in the employment sector. You will need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be confident dealing with people at all levels of seniority internally and externally. We are looking for a candidate with a track record of providing excellent standards of client care and the desire to exceed clients’ expectations. Although training will be provided, we are looking for someone with excellent technical experience, preferably gained at a leading firm.
