Morris & Spottiswood is a leading provider of fitout, refurbishment, M&E, facilities management and construction services in the UK. We are recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor to work within the England Division in Warrington. The role involves commercial responsibility for contract performance on allocated works to maximise turnover and profitability.
Responsibilities
- Take commercial responsibility for contract performance, maximising both turnover and profitability for allocated contracts.
- Ensure accuracy and quality of cost and commercial matters for fast‑track schemes with a high degree of change through the contract period.
- Interface with internal project team members and stakeholders, maintaining robust relationships with clients and architects.
- Adhere to robust commercial processes, ensuring the client achieves continued high quality, value for money and effective change management.
- Manage and attend on-site visits throughout the UK as required.
Qualifications
- Relevant quantity surveying degree qualification.
- Minimum of 2 years working experience as an active and effective team member in the financial sector, preferably within a main contracting background.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Working knowledge of JCT contracts is essential.
