Morris & Spottiswood is a leading provider of fitout, refurbishment, retrofit and construction services in the UK. We are currently recruiting for an experienced Estimator to join our team on a full‑time, permanent basis. Reporting to the Estimating Manager, the role will offer training, mentoring and career development opportunities. This role can be based at either our Glasgow, Almondvale, Leeds or Warrington Office; however, Hybrid working is available.

The successful candidate will demonstrate a proven track record in preparing, pricing, and submitting tenders of high quality, possess full analytical estimating knowledge, and will also be experienced in preparing contract preliminaries. You will ideally have gained experience predominantly within a fitout / housing / general construction environment. From your experience, you will have developed the confidence to work on your own initiative and the ability to settle quickly into this challenging role. You will be educated to at least HND level, demonstrating a strong understanding of estimating issues. You will have robust commercial acumen with good negotiation skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, consultants, architects, suppliers and subcontractors to build strong and rewarding ongoing relationships.
