Senior eCommerce Executive | £35,000-£45,000 | Southampton

Want a role where you can actually see the impact of your eCommerce work?

Our client is an award-winning eCommerce and fulfillment business looking for an experienced Senior eCommerce Executive to join their growing team.

This isn't a role where you'll be siloed into one small part of the eCommerce machine. You'll have genuine ownership across a portfolio of exciting DTC brands and in-house stores, working across trading, CRM, digital marketing, optimisation and performance.

Working across a range of extraordinary and exciting brands you'll be a hands-on eCommerce generalist, responsible for helping clients and own brands grow.

Your day-to-day will include:

  • Shopify: Managing and optimising stores, product presentation, UX and overall site performance.
  • Klaviyo: Building campaigns, automated flows and segmentation to drive engagement and retention.
  • Digital Marketing: Coordinating activity across eCRM, CRO, paid and organic search and social.
  • Analytics: Using GA4 and store data to understand performance and turn numbers into revenue-generating actions.
  • Client Management: Becoming a trusted contact for clients, providing performance updates, ideas and recommendations.
  • CRO & Optimisation: Identifying opportunities to improve customer journeys, conversion and commercial performance.
  • AI: Use AI tools every day to work smarter, automate workflows and increase and improve what can be delivered.

Technology experience

You should be genuinely hands-on with eCommerce technology, rather than simply having managed people who use it.

Essential:

  • 5+ years' eCommerce or digital marketing experience
  • Strong practical experience with Shopify
  • Strong practical experience with Klaviyo
  • Experience using GA4 and eCommerce analytics
  • Understanding of CRO, eCRM, SEO/SEM and digital marketing

Highly desirable:

  • Meta
  • SEMrush
  • Microsoft Clarity
  • Google Search Console
  • Other Shopify/eCommerce apps and marketing technology

You don't need to be an expert in every tool — but you should be technically confident, curious and comfortable getting stuck in.

About You

  • Has worked in eCommerce for 5+ years, ideally within an agency or multi-brand environment.
  • Can comfortably juggle multiple brands, campaigns and priorities.
  • Is commercially minded and understands that great eCommerce is ultimately about customers, conversion and revenue.
  • Can look at data, spot an opportunity and turn it into action.
  • Communicates confidently with clients and colleagues.
  • Takes ownership rather than waiting to be told what to do.
  • Enjoys working in a small, close-knit team where your contribution genuinely matters.
  • Is excited by technology and keen to embrace AI and automation.

Small enough for your work to be visible and ambitious enough for it to matter, you'll work with high-profile global brands, have direct access to decision-makers and be trusted to make a genuine commercial difference.

A role with real ownership.

You'll have your own clients, your own projects and genuine accountability for results. One day you might be optimising a Shopify store; the next you're building a Klaviyo campaign, analysing GA4 data or presenting a growth opportunity to a client.

If you're an experienced eCommerce professional who loves Shopify, digital marketing, data and getting things done, we'd love to hear from you.

An office based role, you'll also get:

£35,000-£45,000 salary depending on experience

  • Private medical insurance
  • Flexitime
  • Cycle to work scheme
  • Company pension
  • Free parking
  • Employee discounts & client product discounts
  • Health & wellbeing programme
  • Casual dress
