Morris Sinclair are working with a small family owned business in the south of Edinburgh. We are looking to speak with IT professionals with a background supporting Microsoft based products and Infrastructure, as well as those with knowledge of software development from a high level. You will also be responsible for leading 2 members of staff, 1 Systems Administrator, 1 Developer. As well as this there is a managed services company that look after their security products and standards, so you would be responsible for this relationship and any work that falls under this.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintaining hardware & software, servers, firewalls, laptops, printers, mobile devices.
- Responsible for IT Security and ensuring systems operate safely and securely in line with ISO standards.
- Awareness of Python, SQL and JavaScript (not looking for an expert here).
- Line Management (nice to have, but can be trained).
This role will be based in the South of Edinburgh and be 5 days a week in the office. There can be some flex on this, but the idea is that this is an office based role.
