We are looking for a Clinical Deputy Manager with strong clinical skills to join our team. The key responsibilities of the Clinical Deputy Manager is to oversee all aspects of clinical care. You will provide inspiring leadership and development of the clinical care teams ensuring we deliver the highest quality of care to our residents.
Responsibilities of the Clinical Deputy Manager:
- Developing, promoting and maintaining high standards of care, medications management and clinical services, where residents are safe and well protected.
- Leading the home’s clinical quality control systems and coaching staff to ensure quality standards are met and staff are engaged in this area, and practice transparency.
- Supporting the Manager in developing and managing effectively and efficiently the financial, human and material resources.
- Inspiring leadership and motivation of the clinical staff team, and the wider team, supporting the Manager to foster a positive culture where individuals are supported to achieve their best.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience of the Clinical Deputy Manager:
- Qualified nurse, either RMN or RGN, with an active NMC pin.
- Thorough understanding of the five guiding principles of first class care: SAFE, EFFECTIVE, CARING, RESPONSIVE, WELL-LED.
- Experience at supervisory level, ideally within a nursing home, having previously worked as one of the following: Home Manager, Deputy Home Manager, Nurse Manager or Clinical Lead, or Senior Nurse etc.
