We are looking for an experienced Procurement Manager to join our team on a full‑time, permanent basis. This role can be based at either our Glasgow or Warrington Office, however we also offer a flexible Hybrid working model.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver the Group’s procurement and supply chain strategy to support business objectives, growth, and value creation.
- Develop long‑term supplier strategies, using market insight to manage risks and identify opportunities.
- Improve planning and digital capability within procurement processes.
- Ensure strong performance through SLAs, KPIs, and regular reviews, while taking corrective action where required.
- Provide commercial and financial leadership, overseeing negotiations, tenders, and contract reviews to achieve savings, rebates, and robust cost controls.
- Build effective relationships with internal stakeholders and senior leaders, act as a trusted advisor, and represent the business externally.
- Lead and develop the procurement team, fostering an inclusive, high‑performing culture across the supply chain.
Experience, Skills & Capability
- Proven experience in a senior procurement or supply chain management role.
- Strong commercial and negotiation skills with experience managing high‑value supplier agreements.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, develop, and motivate teams.
- Experience working with KPIs, performance reporting, and continuous improvement.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
- Experience operating within a Group or multi‑stakeholder environment.
- Knowledge of sustainable and ethical procurement practices.
- Membership of the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS) or equivalent.
