We have a great opportunity for a turnaround specialist to run a diagnostic sprint on an existing product to evaluate it\’s product market fit, whilst also identifying new use cases and modeling new growth revenue streams.
With a background either in Corporate new venture teams, successfully taking scale-ups to exit or working as a venture builder in leading Strategy firms (McKinsey, Bain, BCG) , this is a fantastic opportunity for you to join a leading engineering firm and help re-shape the go-to-market strategy and roadmap for a product that urgently requires market realignment.
Backed by a market-leading brand, this role will suit a business builder with deep expertise in technical markets (engineering, manufacturing, electronics, Rail etc) who brings a strong track record of scaling product recurring revenue, and can run a series of due diligence / diagnostic sprints to deliver robust commercial recommendations that will accelerate product growth and turnaround a products fortunes.
Your due diligence and recommendations will:
- Size and map the market – evaluating the TAM and clarifying target buyer/ (new) customer personas
- Deliver a full competitor analysis and operating model deep dive
- Evaluate how well the product currently maps to market needs, delivering a full GAP analysis
- Analyse how the products USP\’s do/ not address customer needs, making recommendations on how best to enhance/ adapt the overall product value proposition
- Perform client data analysis to drive the product roadmap, providing recommendations on where the product should be playing
- Research use cases, test with clients and model a new product commercial growth roadmap
- Restructuring experience will be a bonus
This role will be hybrid with some requirement to travel in / out of the Hague, where the business build team will be based and will be offered on an initial 4-5 month contract term.
