Key Responsibilities
- Welcome guests with a warm and professional attitude.
- Manage check-ins and check-outs efficiently using the hotel booking system.
- Handle guest enquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally.
- Answer telephone calls and respond to emails in a courteous and timely manner.
- Process payments and maintain accurate cash and card transaction records.
- Ensure the reception area remains clean, tidy, and presentable at all times.
- Work closely with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure rooms are ready and guest issues are resolved quickly.
- Monitor arrivals, departures, and daily occupancy to support smooth hotel operations.
- Follow company procedures, health and safety guidelines, and security protocols.
- Assist with administrative tasks and other duties as required by the Hotel Manager.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role is preferred but not essential.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A positive, can-do attitude with a genuine passion for helping people.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
- Basic computer skills and confidence using booking or reservation systems (training will be provided where required).
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
