Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome guests with a warm and professional attitude.
  • Manage check-ins and check-outs efficiently using the hotel booking system.
  • Handle guest enquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Answer telephone calls and respond to emails in a courteous and timely manner.
  • Process payments and maintain accurate cash and card transaction records.
  • Ensure the reception area remains clean, tidy, and presentable at all times.
  • Work closely with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure rooms are ready and guest issues are resolved quickly.
  • Monitor arrivals, departures, and daily occupancy to support smooth hotel operations.
  • Follow company procedures, health and safety guidelines, and security protocols.
  • Assist with administrative tasks and other duties as required by the Hotel Manager.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role is preferred but not essential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A positive, can-do attitude with a genuine passion for helping people.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic computer skills and confidence using booking or reservation systems (training will be provided where required).
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
