We are seeking an experienced product marketer to develop, lead, and execute the GTM strategy for Morningstar DBRS credit rating products and services in the EMEA region. This role involves delivering data-driven market insights, crafting clear product positioning and messaging, and executing demand generation campaigns to identify growth opportunities in key markets. It will start with one direct report and offers potential for leadership expansion within a growing region, impacting one of Morningstar’s largest business units. The Senior Marketing Manager will oversee all product marketing activities in EMEA, serve as a subject matter expert, and lead regional pipeline growth. The role requires collaboration with Business Development, Brand and Event Marketing, and other teams to advance initiatives. Candidates should have experience in campaign development and GTM strategies within financial services or related industries, with a proven ability to translate strategies into ROI-driven campaigns. Strong communication skills and cross-functional collaboration experience are essential. This position reports to the Global Senior Product Marketing Manager in New York and can be based in Frankfurt, Madrid, or London, with a hybrid work policy requiring at least 3 days onsite per week.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and own the GTM strategy for credit ratings products to drive business growth in EMEA.
- Manage the marketing calendar for programs, campaigns, and events in the region.
- Conduct competitive landscape analysis and provide insights to teams.
- Create and optimize data-driven demand generation campaigns to meet pipeline goals.
- Implement content marketing strategies leveraging thought leadership content.
- Organize and promote events like roadshows, webinars, and networking events, collaborating with Central Events Marketing.
- Manage pre- and post-event campaigns, lead capture, and collateral development.
- Create client testimonials, case studies, and marketing content to support sales efforts.
- Write compelling copy for campaigns and sales assets.
- Analyze and report on marketing program performance, identifying improvement opportunities.
- Perform additional duties as needed to meet business objectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field.
- At least 5 years of successful product marketing experience in financial services, with knowledge of credit rating products preferred.
- Proven ability to develop campaigns and translate strategies into demand generation programs.
- Leadership skills with experience managing initiatives and delegating tasks.
- Strong digital marketing expertise, including email marketing and marketing automation platforms like Pardot.
- Exceptional communication skills for crafting positioning, messaging, and marketing copy.
- Data-driven mindset with strong analytical skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to execute flawlessly across campaigns.
- Effective stakeholder and project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
