Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow a portfolio: ensure strong relationships and consistent value delivery.
  • Develop new business opportunities: expanding our presence and acquiring new clients.
  • Own and expand your book of business, exceeding sales targets through a focus on both new client acquisition and enhancing existing relationships.
  • Take a hands‑on approach in managing your accounts, minimizing cancellations, and ensuring long‑term client value and satisfaction.
  • Oversee contracts for new and renewal business, working closely with internal stakeholders to ensure a timely and smooth process.
  • Partner with sales professionals, product management, Pre‑Sales, after‑sales consultants, and support teams to deliver exceptional solutions for clients.
  • Maintain accurate and timely sales forecasts using Salesforce CRM, ensuring visibility and alignment across the organization.

Qualifications

  • Degree or equivalent with a financial or analytical discipline preferred.
  • 3‑5 years of selling financial data solutions, ideally from a provider such as Factset, FE Fundinfo, ICE Data Services or LSEG.
  • Experience selling into a wide range of institutional clients (buy and sell side, data vendors, and media).
  • Proven track record of exceeding prior targets.
  • Excellent networking skills and hands‑on, organized individual who can build long‑term client relationships.
  • Strong leadership, long‑range planning, and time‑management skills essential.
  • Excellent verbal, written communication abilities and the ability to deliver professional and persuasive presentations.
  • Comfortable working in a high‑performance team environment and can work independently with limited oversight.
  • Strong business instincts, good judgment, and creative mindset.
  • Impeccable character with high ethical and quality standards, extreme attention to detail.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary compensation range: GBP 79,000–115,000.
  • Commission target: 66.67% annual, may vary by up to ±15% depending on final plan design and business factors.
  • Hybrid work environment: four days in‑office each week, with flexibility as needs change.
