Morning Foods have an exciting new opportunity for a Commercial Account Executive.
Location: North West, South Cheshire, Crewe, CW2 6HP (office based). Some travel required locally and regionally.
Salary: Competitive rates of pay, 22 days holiday plus bank holidays, pension scheme and benefits.
Job Type: Permanent, Full Time, Monthly Pay, Monday to Friday.

Morning Foods produces private label and branded Mornflake cereal products from sites across the UK and exports to over 80 countries all over the world. We are a technologically advanced manufacturing group with a rich heritage dating back to 1675.
The Role:
- Being an integral part of the Sales function within the company.
- Developing and deploying effective sales strategies for assigned customers.
- Managing key customer relationships and commercial negotiations across both private label and branded business.
- Demonstrating a passionate, determined, and commercially driven mindset, balancing strategic thinking with an entrepreneurial, hands-on approach.
- Analysing market and consumer data to support effective decision-making.
- Influencing and engaging others, taking cross-functional teams with you.
- Adapting communication and leadership style to influence a diverse stakeholder group.
- Being open to constructive feedback and actively contributing to capability building, autonomy, and ownership within the team.
- Support will be provided by an experienced in-house team, as well as specialists from across the wider group.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage the interface between the business and customers across Buying, NPD, Supply Chain, Finance, and Category teams.
- Ensure all customer quotations meet company margin requirements and address any cost implications or sensitivities.
- Identify, develop, and manage strong relationships with key accounts.
- Present, promote, and sell products using clear, compelling commercial arguments to existing and prospective customers.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and market share growth.
- Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and stay informed on industry trends.
- Provide accurate sales forecasts, activity reports, and market intelligence to internal stakeholders.
- Represent the business at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings as required.
- Ensure timely resolution of customer issues and concerns to maintain high levels of satisfaction.
You:
- Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Food Science, or a related discipline.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Highly self-motivated with excellent organisational and time-management abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and AI-enabled applications.
- Full UK driving licence.
