About the role: We are looking to appoint a well-qualified and highly motivated specialist in Psychology and Counselling to join our Humanities and Applied Studies team. The role will involve delivering and assessing a range of Psychology and Counselling units to students studying on Access to HE Diplomas. The role will be based primarily at the North Kensington Centre. You will be an engaging and experienced practitioner of teaching, learning, and assessment, with an appropriate degree-level qualification in Psychology, Counselling, or a related discipline, and QTLS or equivalent. You will have experience of working in a college setting with adult learners, and ideally with Access to HE Diploma programmes as well as vocational counselling courses. Responsibilities

  • Deliver and assess Psychology and Counselling units to students on Access to HE Diplomas.
  • Engage with adult learners in a college setting, supporting progression to higher education or professional pathways.
  • Contribute to the planning, delivery, and quality assurance of curriculum across the Humanities and Applied Studies team.
  • Stay up to date with developments in Psychology, Counselling, and related disciplines to inform teaching practice.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Degree-level qualification in Psychology, Counselling, or a related discipline.
  • QTLS or equivalent.
  • Experience of teaching, learning, and assessment in a college setting with adult learners.
  • Experience with Access to HE Diploma programmes and vocational counselling courses is desirable.
