If yes, the Community Learning department has an exciting opportunity for a passionate, motivated and imaginative Programme Area Manager to join our team at the Stockwell centre.

To excel in this role, you should have:

  • Recruitment & Outreach Abilities – Skilled in attracting new learners, particularly those with LDD, and increasing course participation.
  • Knowledge of LDD & Inclusive Education – Understanding of the challenges faced by LDD learners and strategies to create accessible learning environments.
  • Passion for Community Development & Education – A strong commitment to empowering individuals through learning opportunities.
  • Effective Communication & Interpersonal Skills – Ability to engage, collaborate, and build relationships with learners, colleagues, and stakeholders.
  • Ability to Connect with Diverse Audiences – Comfortable engaging with individuals from various backgrounds and needs.
  • Empathy & Patience – A supportive and understanding approach in guiding individuals toward educational opportunities.
  • Familiarity with Community Resources & Networks – Awareness of local services and support systems to enhance learner engagement.
