Multi-platform media owner is looking for a Podcast Lead (sales) to join their vibrant team in London. With confidence and excellent communication you will lead the Podcast proposition within Agencies, Trading Desks and across radio teams within agencies via the hubs. You will develop the programmatic audio revenue business.
The Role:
- Lead the audio proposition and the go to market for podcasts.
- Grow the programmatic audio revenue business out of the Agencies, through training internal sales team, going out to market with new podcasts/propositions.
- Develop a strong understanding around how each agency activates their audio.
- Work closely with the radio teams to ensure that when they are discussing radio there is a reallocation to digital audio programmatically.
- Monitor marketplace trends to surface new opportunities for programmatic audio growth and present findings to internal stakeholders and the recommended action.
- Work closely with tech/product teams to ensure product works well.
- Become a key stakeholder and be an integral part of the programmatic audio infrastructure.
Skills:
- Strong agency relationships and can easily gain access to these teams along with building new relationships where needed.
- Experienced in leading an audio approach for a media owner with a minimum of 5 years’ experience.
- Radio and/or audio commercial sales experience and familiar with the market landscape.
- Demonstrated track record of delivering against targets.
- Strong knowledge of industry trends, technologies and pricing models.
- Exceptional communication, presentation and relationship building skills.
- Strong analytical skills.
