We're working with a leading digital advertising and media technology business looking to hire a
Senior Strategic Data Partnership Development Manager to expand and strengthen its network of data, identity, measurement and technology partners across Europe.
This is a hands-on, market-facing partnership development role for someone who has worked directly with data partners in a comparable Ad Tech, media or technology environment.
The successful individual will be responsible for identifying and developing new data and technology partnerships , building relationships with prospective partners, assessing their capabilities and commercial value, and leading opportunities from initial engagement through negotiation, contracting and launch.
The partnerships developed through this role will play an important role in enhancing the company's Ad Tech proposition and creating value across advertisers, clients, sales teams and publisher partners .
This is not primarily an account management role. The emphasis is on new partner acquisition, commercial deal-making and expanding the company's external data and technology ecosystem .
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively identify, source and engage with prospective data, identity, measurement and advertising technology partners across Europe.
- Build and manage a strong pipeline of new partnership opportunities aligned to product and commercial priorities.
- Develop relationships with senior stakeholders across the data and Ad Tech ecosystem.
- Work closely with product, sales, commercial and publisher teams to understand market needs and identify external data and technology capabilities that can enhance the proposition and create new commercial opportunities.
- Evaluate potential partners, data assets and technologies to assess their strategic, commercial and technical value .
- Lead commercial discussions, negotiations and contracting processes from initial engagement through to completed agreement.
- Work with legal, privacy, product and technical teams to ensure partnerships are commercially viable, compliant and operationally deliverable.
- Develop business cases, commercial models and recommendations for senior stakeholders.
- Identify emerging technologies, data sources and market developments that could create new partnership or product opportunities.
- Support the onboarding and launch of new partnerships and help ensure they deliver against agreed objectives.
- Maintain and develop key strategic relationships, identifying opportunities to deepen and expand partnerships over time.
- Share market intelligence, partner insight and emerging trends with internal teams.
- Help develop partnership processes and frameworks that support scalable, long-term growth.
Strong, hands-on experience working with data partners in a similar strategic partnerships, business development or partnership development role.
- Experience within
Ad Tech, programmatic advertising, CTV, digital media or a related technology sector .
- Strong understanding of the data ecosystem, including audience data, identity, measurement, attribution and data-driven advertising solutions .
- Proven experience identifying, sourcing and developing new data partnerships , rather than solely managing existing relationships.
- Demonstrable experience taking partnerships from initial engagement and evaluation through commercial negotiation, contracting and launch .
- Strong commercial judgement and the ability to assess the strategic and revenue potential of potential partners.
- Experience negotiating commercial agreements and business models with data, technology or media partners.
- An established network and strong relationships across the
Ad Tech and data ecosystem would be highly advantageous.
- Comfortable working with senior stakeholders across product, sales, commercial, legal, privacy and technical teams.
- Excellent relationship-building, influencing and negotiation skills.
- Able to manage multiple complex partnership opportunities and deal cycles simultaneously.
- Experience working across European markets would be beneficial.
