Are you ready to shape the future of smart entertainment experiences across Europe? Our client is seeking a strategic and commercially savvy Business Development Manager to join their European platform expansion team. This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in licensing a proprietary operating system to leading consumer electronics brands, helping power the next generation of internet-enabled TVs across the continent.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Strategic Partnerships: Identify and engage with TV manufacturers and technology partners across Europe to license a custom CTV operating system.
  • Deal Leadership: Negotiate and close complex commercial agreements, aligning with global stakeholders to deliver scalable platform adoption.
  • Market Expansion: Build and execute a regional roadmap to drive platform presence among white-label and branded device makers.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with engineering, product, and integration teams to support technical onboarding and ensure successful implementation.
  • Platform Evangelism: Advocate for the platform’s benefits — both commercial and technical — to partners across the media, retail, and consumer electronics ecosystem.
  • Competitive Intelligence: Stay ahead of industry trends, OS developments, and OEM strategies to identify new opportunities and mitigate risks.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience in business development, partnerships, or licensing within the smart TV, CTV, consumer electronics, or platform technology sectors.
  • A track record of closing strategic deals and managing long-term relationships in complex, matrixed environments.
  • Solid understanding of the TV manufacturing landscape, OS ecosystems, and embedded platform models.
  • Ability to bridge commercial and technical conversations — you understand enough about system architecture to speak credibly with engineers, while comfortably managing boardroom negotiations.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.
  • Bonus: experience working with OEMs, ODMs, or platform licensing teams internationally.

Why Join?

  • Influence the future of CTV platforms in Europe with a globally recognised industry leader.
  • Work at the cutting edge of entertainment technology, spanning hardware, software, and user experience.
  • Enjoy a hybrid, flexible working culture with international exposure and room for career growth.
  • Travel opportunities to attend industry events and build relationships across Europe and beyond.

Interested? This is a rare opportunity to work with a true heavyweight in the connected device space. If you’re commercially driven, technically fluent, and excited by global platform growth, we’d love to hear from you.
