A well-established Media Business is currently hiring a Media Planner / Buyer to plan and buy campaigns across press, outdoor broadcast and digital. You’ll be responsible for planning, buying and optimising multi-channel activity. This role is ideal for a commercially minded planner/buyer looking to step up in a fast-paced media agency.
What you will do:
- Choosing where and how to spend budgets (which publishers, stations, sites, formats)
- Negotiating rates, discounts and added value with media owners
- Buying media inventory (ad space, airtime, impressions, placements)
- Making sure contracts, bookings and pricing are accurate
- Getting the best possible value for a client’s budget, not just the cheapest option
- Managing delivery so campaigns run as booked and on time
You’ll need:
- Experience in media planning and buying
- Confidence working across press, digital, OOH and broadcast
- Strong organisation, attention to detail and commercial awareness
- Solid Excel/Sheets skills and the ability to manage multiple campaigns
