A unique and growing B2B events, digital and magazine business requires a Head of Performance Marketing. Their objective is to continue to expand using their clients' data, insight and reputation to expand these global B2B publishing brands. Role Overview

We’re looking for a results-driven and strategic Head of Marketing to lead our marketing function through its next phase of growth. This individual will be responsible for driving demand generation, user acquisition, and lead generation through integrated, measurable, and scalable marketing programs. You’ll oversee a talented marketing team, test and launch new initiatives, and ensure campaign performance is tightly aligned with commercial objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategy & Leadership: Develop and own the overall marketing strategy across all brands and channels, aligned with business growth goals. Partner with sales, editorial, product, and data teams to ensure a unified go-to-market strategy.
  • Demand & Lead Generation: Build and scale multi-channel demand generation campaigns targeting B2B audiences across key verticals. Use audience segmentation, buyer personas, and intent data to drive high-quality MQLs and SQLs. Manage the lead lifecycle from acquisition to conversion, optimizing lead funnels and nurturing strategies.
  • Campaign Development & Execution: Plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns across email, content, paid media, SEO, events, and social. Test, measure, and iterate on campaigns to improve reach, engagement, and conversion rates. Champion A/B testing and agile marketing methods to improve outcomes.
  • Performance Tracking & Analytics: Implement robust campaign tracking, reporting, and attribution models using tools like HubSpot, Salesforce, GA4, and others. Use insights to optimize campaign ROI and provide transparent performance metrics to leadership. Drive a culture of data-driven decision-making within the marketing team.
  • Innovation & Growth Initiatives: Pilot new marketing technologies, channels, and tactics to stay ahead of the curve. Evaluate emerging tools and platforms that can enhance marketing efficiency and reach.

Requirements

  • Proven experience (10+ years) in B2B marketing, preferably within publishing and digital media.
  • Deep understanding of demand generation, lead generation, and B2B marketing funnels.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing and scaling marketing teams.
  • Expertise in using CRM, MAPs, analytics tools, and content management systems (e.g. HubSpot, Salesforce, GA4).
  • Demonstrable success in creating data-driven marketing strategies that generate measurable business outcomes.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, performance-oriented environment.

Desirable

  • Experience working in a B2B publishing or media environment.
  • Familiarity with audience data platforms, intent data tools, and ABM strategies.
  • Hands-on experience with content marketing and editorial collaboration.
