We are currently seeking a top class site manager based in the Pembrokeshire region for a long continuation of work on a large residential project.
Duties will entail:
- Oversee site operations to ensure adherence to specifications, timelines, and budgets.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, whilst always promoting a safety culture.
- Direct labour, supply chain, equipment, and resources to achieve project completion on time and within budget.
- Monitor project progress, addressing delays, risks, or issues promptly.
- Conduct regular site inspections to assess quality, safety, and progress.
- Coordinate with the Buying and Surveying teams to ensure timely procurement of materials and services.
- Manage site teams, monitor performance, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Attend weekly meetings with the Operations manager and ensure a close working relationship between the whole site delivery team.
- Conduct site inductions for new personnel and subcontractors on health and safety procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of site activities and project documentation.
- Oversee site logistics to ensure proper material storage.
- Ensure compliance with safety policies and regulations.
- Ensure 100% compliance with all relevant standards and building regulations.
