As a Senior Campaign Manager within the Digital & Games UK & ROI team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful planning, coordination and delivery of some of Mc Donald's most important customer engagement programmes, including Monopoly, My Mc Donald's Rewards Partnerships and activations throughout the annual marketing calendar.
This role is focused on bringing structure, visibility and operational excellence across the team.
Acting as the connective tissue between different internal teams day to day, you will help ensure programmes remain on track, teams are effectively resourced, Finances are on track, processes are followed, and risks are proactively managed.
The role is less about leading client relationships and more about enabling teams to do their best work through strong organisation, planning, commercial management and operational oversight.
Whilst this role does not have direct responsibility for client leadership or people management, it is a highly influential position that requires strong stakeholder management, confidence in challenging and escalating issues, and the ability to drive accountability across multidisciplinary teams.

- WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE AGENCY
- Programme planning & Coordination
- Coordinate delivery across multiple projects and workstreams, ensuring timelines, dependencies and milestones are clearly understood and managed.
- Support Account Directors in developing annual and campaign plans, ensuring activity is appropriately scoped and resourced.
- Drive internal project governance, bringing visibility to programme status, key decisions and upcoming priorities.
- Facilitate project kick-offs and internal alignment sessions.
- Ensure project documentation, trackers and ways of working remain accurate and up to date.
- Resource & Capacity Management
- Own resource planning across the Digital & Games team, identifying capacity challenges and potential conflicts.
- Work closely with team leads to support effective allocation of people and skills across programmes.
- Monitor utilisation levels and recommend adjustments where required.
- Provide visibility of future resource needs to support planning and recruitment decisions.
- Commercial & Financial Management
- Lead forecasting processes across programmes and annual retainer.
- Monitor programme budgets, burn reports and work-in-progress balances with team.
- Support Account Directors and Business Director with financial reporting and commercial reviews.
- Ensure billing processes are delivered accurately and on time.
- Maintain oversight of estimates, purchase orders, change requests and financial reconciliations.
- Delivery Excellence & Governance
- Champion consistent delivery processes and best practice across the team.
- Ensure projects follow agreed governance, approval and reporting processes.
- Monitor project health, identifying risks, issues and dependencies before they impact delivery.
- Support teams in creating mitigation plans and escalating issues appropriately.
- Coordinate post-project reviews and capture learnings to continuously improve delivery standards.
- Operational Improvement
- Drive improvements to team processes, tools and ways of working.
- Identify opportunities to streamline project delivery and increase efficiency across the team.
- Create and maintain operational frameworks, templates and documentation.
- Support the implementation and adoption of AI, automation and new operational capabilities.
- Help embed a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
- Stakeholder Management
- Build strong working relationships across Account Management, Strategy, Project Management, Operations, Finance and Creative teams.
- Act as a central coordination point for internal stakeholders.
- Ensure information is communicated clearly and consistently across teams.
- Support senior leaders with reporting, project status updates and business planning activities.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Strong experience in campaign, programme, project or operations management within a fast-paced agency environment.
- Proven ability to coordinate multiple projects, workstreams and stakeholders simultaneously, maintaining oversight of priorities, timelines and dependencies.
- Experience in resource planning, forecasting and utilisation management across teams.
- Strong commercial awareness, with experience managing budgets, financial reporting, invoicing processes and work-in-progress tracking.
- Experience implementing and maintaining robust project governance, delivery processes and ways of working.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to bring structure and clarity to complex programmes.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to work effectively across Client Services, Strategy, Creative, Operations, Finance and Delivery teams.
- Ability to identify risks, dependencies and delivery challenges early, and drive appropriate actions and resolutions.
- A proactive and solution-oriented mindset, with a passion for improving processes, driving efficiency and enabling teams to perform at their best.
- Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex information into clear and actionable updates.
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Power Point and Word, alongside experience using project management, resource planning and reporting tools.
- Knowledge of the FMCG, retail and customer engagement landscape.
- A collaborative approach and a willingness to support and coach others in delivering operational excellence.
- Interest in leveraging AI and emerging technologies to improve ways of working and team effectiveness.
- Educated to degree level (or equivalent professional experience).
