The Client Finance Analyst will sit within our International Agency Finance team.

The Client Finance Analyst is responsible for providing financial support for a group of clients including revenue pricing, annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, monthly close, data consolidation, profitability reporting & analysis, client-specific reporting & billing oversight as well as trade working capital management.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ORGANIZATION
- Financial
- Supporting the development of annual client financial plans in collaboration with client teams and Finance Managers.
- Ensuring proper revenue and client expense recognition in accordance with revenue recognition guidelines and monthly close schedule.
- Analysing and explaining any revenue variances against KPIs.
- Liaising with account teams across new revenue streams to ensure accurate financial planning.
- Assisting with the preparation of monthly presentations to client leadership.
- Client Reporting
- Prepare and analyse monthly client reporting packs and provide meaningful commentary to the teams to aid decision-making.
- WIP and project management and ownership.
- Preparing ad hoc client analysis as directed by supervisor.
- Support the client teams with project reconciliations and closure.
- Meeting agency and client-specific reporting requirements, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
- Client Pricing
- Preparing and analysing pricing estimates for new projects, ensuring accuracy, adherence to contractual terms and an appropriate level of profitability.
- Ensuring rate cards and pricing matrices are maintained and up-to-date.
- Maintaining pricing records to enable consistency and informed pricing decisions for future projects.
- Meeting agency and client-specific reporting requirements, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
- Supporting supervisors in securing appropriate client approvals and documentation to enable set up and invoicing.
- Audit support
- Tracking audit requests via Connect – providing the team with weekly updates and chasing outstanding items.
- Pulling cash receipts, remittances, and proof of delivery from the systems and generally assisting the team to close audit queries in a timely manner.
- Consolidating and maintaining audit records for ease of use.
- Trade Working Capital Management
- Analysing all TWC components to achieve established targets.
- Ownership of the billing process – to ensure invoicing is accurate, timely, and issued in accordance with client contractual billing guidelines.
- Ensuring all client invoices have accurate information, including the correct tax codes and rates.
- Updating account teams on TWC issues, driving for follow-up as needed.
- Resolving/escalating TWC issues as required.

- Ad-hoc projects as assigned.
- Support the finance manager in delivering finance training to the business.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE WE WOULD LIKE YOU TO HAVE
- 2+ years of relevant work experience, services industry background a plus.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, high-level Excel functionality expected.
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to translate data findings into actionable solutions.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with a wide range of stakeholders to drive performance-oriented decision making.
- Accurate and focused on attention to detail.
- Excellent organization and problem-solving skills.
- Must be a self-starter.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Familiarity with NetSuite a plus.
- Familiarity with Power BI a plus.
